These terms govern every website NameDuo operates. A Buy now purchase is governed by the terms Escrow.com presents during checkout. Any other sale is governed by the terms confirmed in writing between you and NameDuo before the transaction starts.
Using this site
You may use our websites to learn about NameDuo, inquire about a domain, or start an available checkout. You may not interfere with a site, probe or load-test its infrastructure, scrape it, impersonate anyone, send abusive or unlawful content, or use it in violation of applicable law.
Listings, prices, and availability
Prices are in US dollars. A listing describes the domain and its asking price as of the date shown and can change or be withdrawn until a sale is confirmed. Clicking Buy now or starting a checkout does not reserve a domain; a domain is reserved when its listing is marked sale pending. We correct obvious listing errors and will tell you before proceeding if a price shown was wrong.
Domain transactions
A sale completes in one of two ways.
- Buy now. You provide your name and email on the domain's page and continue to Escrow.com, which handles the buyer account, collects payment, holds the funds, and releases them to NameDuo once you confirm the domain has arrived. Escrow.com's terms state the fees, the inspection period, and each side's obligations.
- Agreed sale. After an inquiry, we confirm the price and the transfer method in writing. The transfer then completes through Escrow.com or through a marketplace or registrar we both accept.
NameDuo transfers the domain after funds are secured, by registry push, authorization code, or the concierge transfer stated in the listing. You are responsible for holding an eligible registrar account, for accurate contact and account details, and for any fees your registrar charges to accept a domain. Ownership passes when the transfer completes at the registry. Once a domain has been transferred, the sale is final except where the transaction provider's terms provide otherwise.
Third-party services
Escrow.com is our primary transaction provider. Marketplaces and registrars including Sedo, GoDaddy, Dynadot, Namecheap, and Atom may carry a sale, Postmark delivers our email, and Cloudflare hosts our websites. Each operates under its own terms and privacy policy. NameDuo does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability or for decisions they make under their own rules.
Communications
Email to NameDuo is stored as plain text. Attachment contents are discarded on arrival; only their name, type, and size may be retained. Sending an inquiry does not create a contract or an obligation to sell, and a message is not confidential unless we agree in writing before you send it. We answer inquiries by email from a nameduo.now address; be cautious of any message about a NameDuo domain that arrives from another domain.
Ownership
The NameDuo name, logo, and original site content belong to NameDuo LLC. Domain names listed for sale remain the property of NameDuo LLC until a transfer completes. These terms grant no right to copy, republish, or misuse any of them.
Disclaimers and responsibility
Our websites and listings are provided as they are and as available. To the extent the law allows, NameDuo disclaims implied warranties about the websites and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from their use, or for the acts of a third-party provider. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here changes the terms of a transaction you complete with a provider.
Changes and severability
When these terms change we update the date at the top; the version shown when you start a transaction is the one that applies to it. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
